Argentine-Australian José Carbó has performed in the leading opera houses of the world including Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Real Madrid, Los Angeles Opera, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Seattle Opera and more. At Opera Australia, José recently gave his 50th performance of Germont in La Traviata, and for his portrayal of Alfio/Tonio in Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci, received his third Helpmann nomination and a Green Room Award nomination. José will delight Opera Lovers with an informal evening of singing and stories with pianist David Wickham and a guest appearance by soprano Jenna Robertson before their performance in the Albany Arts Festival.
